Salzburg in Austria is famous for Mozart, Sound of Music, the Music Festival, conductor Karajan, but it is also the birthplace of Doppler. I accidentally found it when I traveled long time ago. "Geburtshaus" means birthplace. This place is called Makartplatz, and there is Mozart's house (Mozart Wohnhaus) right by the side.

Salzburg is also famous for chocolate called Mozartkugeln (Mozart ball), but there is chocolate named after Doppler as well. It is a very rich taste, and personally I like it more than Mozartkugeln. This is sold in a chocolate shop called Fürst. By the way, the first Mozartkugeln was made by Fürst, and they are still handcrafted.
