Admission to Graduate School 

The faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University, https://www.st.keio.ac.jp/en/
provides graduate programs for international students.

1) Master's program (two years)

Applicants must have a completed Bachelor's degree from a university outside of Japan by the time of entry to the graduate school. They can choose one of two programs, Japanese-based Master's Program (Japanese proficiency is required) and English-based Master's Program (English proficiency is required). The latter program currently offers six areas, "Nano Science Program," "Biomedical Engineering Program," etc.

2) Ph.D. program (three years)

Applicants must have a completed Master's degree from a university outside of Japan by the time of entry to the graduate school and have a minimum school education of 15 years, or an academic capability equivalent to Master's degree holders outside of Japan. Admission requires either Japanese or English proficiency.

Before the application, please seek appropriate professor for your major. You must contact the professor of your field of study, and ask if he/she can be your research advisor.
